The Senior C# .Net Backend Software Engineer will focus on developing scalable and reliable IT-enabled business solutions while performing all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems using best practices and industry standards

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards

Work closely with product management, quality assurance, and operations teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns

Participate in team meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues

Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to resolve problems

Continuously improve software performance, reliability, and scalability

Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests to ensure software quality

Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve defects

Ensure that software meets functional and non-functional requirements

Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software engineering

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies

Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance and sharing knowledge

Required

5+ years software development experience

Must have C# & .Net development experience

SQL: Stored procedures, triggers, indexes, and views

AI – Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI platform

Must have experience and understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Preferred

Backend: JavaScript, Java, Python or Spring experience helpful

Front end: Blazor, Angular, or React experience helpful

Knowledge of NoSQL, WCF, Azure/AWS experience a plus

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies

Relevant certifications in software development or related fields are a plus (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate)
