Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) Product Manager

General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking an Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) Product Manager who will be responsible for the engineering execution of ARV. The individual will lead a team of engineers, manage cost, schedule, and technical performance, while interfacing with various stakeholders and ensuring program performance.

Responsibilities

Responsible for Engineering Performance of ARV scope
Cost/Schedule/Technical/Risk Management
Lead process center activities in support of the Program Director
Train and develop direct employees that report to the individual
Review and approve all engineering ARV bids
Prepare and maintain project plans
Develop engineering inputs to support program requirements
Interact with the customer as the engineering face to the customer and represent engineering in customer interactions
Oversee Integrated Product Team (IPT) leaders and/or Control Account Managers (CAMs) / Project Leads specific areas of the project cost, schedule and performance as required
Work with the cross-functional Process Center leads as required by the Program Director
Analyze performance, status and progress reports to determine management actions (corrective or preventive) and to ensure program performance
Lead temporary endeavors undertaken to create unique products, services, deliverables, or outcomes. Coordinate across process centers as needed

Required

Minimum of Bachelors degree in Engineering
A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
Project Management experience required
Proven ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships
Demonstrated ability to form and lead teams
Experience in leading design, development and integration of complex systems
Proven leadership skills and competencies
Ability to assess technical risk and develop corrective actions and/or mitigation plans
Must have excellent analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
Must have strong oral and written communication skills
Must have excellent business acumen and negotiating skills
Ability to travel as needed
This position will require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)

Preferred

MBA/MS a plus
Mechanical, Electrical, Systems preferred but other degrees will be considered with relevant experience
