The Construction Management Intern will work for approximately 10-12 weeks, integrating education with practical experience across various departments and construction projects.

Responsibilities

Project management (public and private jobs)

Learn how to find, bid and build heavy construction projects

Work with current bidding software

Set up contracts and sub contractors

Work with estimators

Work with project managers and construction crew foreman

Working on a construction crew and/or prep crew

Spend time with foreman learning how to prepare for the job and set up job

Learn about construction equipment – various uses and skills required

Required

Working towards a bachelor's or associate degree in construction management, operations management or civil engineering from a college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Desired 3.0 GPA or higher

Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word and Excel

Mobility to attend various meetings and events at offsite locations

Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check

Ability to travel with a current driver's license

Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times
