Responsibilities

May operate heavy machinery (including forklift) or computer programs
Use a variety of tools and retrieve parts
Conduct daily set-up of area
Troubleshooting
Working around or with machinery and power sources such as electricity
Ensuring safety, food safety and quality
Cleanliness and housekeeping
Maintaining a safe working environment
Participating on various teams such as HAZMAT

Required

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must have knowledge of hand and power tools
Have state issued operator driver's license
Previous experience in maintenance

Preferred

Previous industrial maintenance experience
Two year degree that relates to the maintenance field
Experience using a powered industrial truck (PIT)
Previous Cargill experience
Work history in the last 12 months
