2+ years expWuXi AppTec is looking for a highly motivated Research Associate II to join their biophysics team. This role will provide lab support for both small and large molecule client projects using a range of biophysical techniques.

Responsibilities
Support biophysical binding assays
Follow SOP's and perform SPR, TSA, MST, and other biophysical assays as required
Support instrument maintenance
Understanding of protein sciences, including binding affinity and kinetics
Effectively communicate with internal team colleagues and external clients to promote world class services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, biophysics, chemistry, or a lab-based discipline required
Demonstrated strong understanding of complex scientific procedures and technical proficiency with in vitro based assays
Outstanding written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to seamlessly fit into a team-oriented environment
Basic troubleshooting and planning skills
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication abilities
In vitro lab skills (pipetting, measuring, following lab protocols)
Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work in a team environment
Must be able to read, write and understand English
Must be able to work in an office environment with minimal noise conditions
Must be able to work in Lab setting with exposure to biohazards, chemicals
Must be able to wear appropriate PPE
Must be able to work in environment with variable noise levels
Ability to stand/sit/walk for long periods of time
Ability to Lift 10 lbs. routinely
Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and reach
Ability to push/pull 10 lbs. routinely
Clarity of Vision
Preferred
2+ year of work experience is preferred
