Responsibilities
Support the business architecture initiatives of multiple product areas within the Fidelity Wealth and Fidelity Brokerage product areas
Work with the business and technology leadership to build capability maps, define target architectures, architecture roadmaps, and help deliver the technical products that enable and support our business capabilities
Develop and support architecture processes throughout the organization
Work closely with business leadership, product owners, architects, and engineers in an agile environment to help them understand our architecture process and follow the required standards and help them engage in our best practices
Champion innovation, drive standardization, and deliver modern technology patterns across the stack for our customers' use
Contribute to the product roadmap evolution in conjunction with business unit product goals
Provide leadership in computing services, adoption of platforms and consolidation across our team's initiatives
Qualification
Required
6+ years' experience engineering/developing web enabled applications and some combination of the following:
Proven track record as a solution architect, architecting, designing, and building new solutions with very strong analysis skills OR
Prior experience as a business architect with deep experience in business architecture practices
Experience with Agile development methodology
Experience with Micro-Service Architecture & SOA
Experience in all aspects of AWS cloud computing (infrastructure, storage, platforms and data)
Working knowledge in all aspects of solution architecture (infrastructure/network topology, application architecture operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization)
Working knowledge of an architecture framework (e.g., TOGAF)
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages
Well versed in Java, .net, JavaScript, Angular, Typescript
Working knowledge of continuous integration/deployment
Experience with event-driven, serverless architecture, design, and implementation
Heightened awareness, experience or passion for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Experience with agile development, DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery
Ability to work both independently and with all levels of the organization, including technical and non-technical team members
Preferred
Contribution to the open-source community would be beneficial
