The Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack will design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications, ensuring solutions meet stringent requirements for security, privacy, compliance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using technologies such as Next.js and NestJS

Build and maintain production applications end-to-end, including frontend, backend, and API development

Integrate internal and third-party services, ensuring resilient, secure, and well-documented interactions

Design and manage relational database schemas using Prisma ORM and Liquibase

Ensure solutions meet stringent requirements for security, privacy, compliance, and reliability

Support and integrate Python-based machine learning applications, ensuring reliable interoperability between ML systems (e.g. MLflow) and customer-facing products

Evaluate emerging technologies and drive improvements to system reliability, scalability, and developer workflows

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., AI, compliance, sales, lab technicians, executive teams, etc.) to translate requirements into technical solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer

1+ years of experience with fast-paced startup or small-company environments

1+ years of experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt in a fast-paced environment, and stay current with emerging technologies

Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive with strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience designing and operating distributed, production-grade systems

Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS

Strong understanding of database design and management, with hands-on experience using Prisma ORM or similar tools

Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services

Preferred

Experience in healthcare, biotech, or other regulated-data environments

Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar

Experience with AWS, particularly Cognito, RDS, and App Runner, for secure and scalable cloud-based deployments

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and agile development methodologies
