Responsibilities

Lead a small team of hardware engineers

Follow quality procedures to comply with ISO requirements

Travel occasionally to sites

Generate requirements for RADAR subsystems based on technical and customer requirements

Design subsystems - this includes analog/RF signal integrity, control wiring, power, and thermal considerations

Develop test plans for subsystems

Test and troubleshoot system and subsystem-level problems

Be the lead hardware engineer for a project

Required

10+ years of relevant experience

Strong analog and microwave background to design analog and RF RADAR subsystems

Ability to troubleshoot system and subsystem-level problems

Ability to develop chain analysis for product requirements

Understanding of frequency plans for up and down conversion

Ability to work independently as well as with a team

Excellent communication skills

Proficient with Office products

Experience with Ansys HFSS

Radar design experience of low-level electronics

Must be a U.S. citizen

Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related field of study

Preferred

Experience with high precision RF over Fiber, RF chain analysis, and troubleshooting
