They are seeking a highly skilled Cloud / Solutions Architect to support digital product and application architecture initiatives in the Healthcare Domain, focusing on application development architecture and requiring deep expertise in AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities
Lead application-focused cloud and solution architecture initiatives across multiple Agile delivery streams
Translate business and product requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing application architectures
Design and govern microservices-based architectures, APIs, and cloud-native solutions on AWS
Partner with product, UX, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver end-to-end architectural blueprints
Define and enforce non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, availability, security, and resiliency
Evaluate build vs. buy decisions and guide architectural trade-offs
Establish and evangelize architectural standards, best practices, and reusable solutions
Lead proof-of-concepts (POCs), technology evaluations, and vendor assessments
Mentor and guide senior engineers and architects across teams
Monitor AWS costs and usage using FinOps principles and recommend optimization strategies
Ensure secure design and adherence to cloud security and compliance best practices
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on enterprise application development experience
6+ years in Solution / Cloud Architecture, leading architecture initiatives across multiple value streams
Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Services (application-centric architecture)
Deep experience designing APIs, microservices, containers, and distributed systems
Strong proficiency with Java and Node.js (must be clearly listed on the resume)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, and DevOps practices
Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, scalability, and performance optimization
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex architectures to technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred
Experience working in SAFe or Agile-at-scale environments
Knowledge of ADA and regulatory compliance frameworks (PCI, PII, PHI)
Experience with security-focused architecture initiatives
Familiarity with cloud networking concepts across cloud and on-prem environments
Strong awareness of emerging cloud technologies and AWS service offerings
