Responsible for obtaining accurate demographic and insurance data from patients admitted to the MRHC for inpatient and outpatient services
Register patient’s data into computer system accurately and in a timely manner
Verifies Insurance Eligibility and Precertification through online or phone access
Communicates with other departments throughout the hospital on any admitting issues
Verifies valid physician orders are received upon admission
Some weekends and holidays are required for this position
