5+ years expLHH is seeking a Safety Manager to support a large-scale construction project. The Safety Manager will ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with safety regulations, and foster a strong safety culture across the job site.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily safety operations on an active construction site
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and local regulations
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, documenting findings and corrective actions
Lead and facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and subcontractors
Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and implement preventative measures
Partner with project managers, supervisors, and trade partners to promote and maintain a strong safety culture
Maintain accurate safety records and compliance documentation
Qualification
Required
5+ years of safety management experience within construction or industrial environments
OSHA 510 and OSHA 500 certifications required
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
Knowledge of State and Local Codes, CFR 29, 1926, and NFPA 70E
Experience conducting incident investigations and determining root causes
Proficient with computers, phones, and standard office equipment
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or a related field preferred (not required)
Additional certifications such as CSP or CHST are a plus
