Responsibilities

Designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js
Building reusable code and libraries for future use
Integrating backend services with third-party APIs and external systems
Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Implementing security and data protection measures
Optimizing backend application performance
Troubleshooting and debugging backend issues
Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers
Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in backend development

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Proven experience as a Node.js Backend Developer or similar role
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, Nest.js, etc
Experience with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Familiarity with server-side security best practices and implementation
Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
Good understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
