Senior Account Executive
Diversified Foodservice Supply, LLC is seeking a Senior Account Executive to retain and grow national accounts while developing new business opportunities. Responsibilities
Execute sales plans to meet established revenue and profitability objectives
Drive revenue generation through existing account penetration and new prospects
Candidate must demonstrate experience in developing sales approaches that align with customers’ financial budgets while supporting sustainable company growth
Attain an in-depth knowledge & understanding of assigned clients’ organizational structure, goals, objectives and strategic plans
Develop in-depth relationships with customers to ensure long-term success
Implement and follow established company sales processes to ensure consistent methodology in penetrating and developing existing and new accounts
Leverage company sales tools e.g. Salesforce to document and track sales activities
Identify customers’ needs to develop proposals to increase sales revenue that will provide enhanced value to the customer
Actively participate in company sales training and utilization of technology to enhance selling skills that drive success
Develop strong internal relationships to better service customers, negotiate contracts, and resolution of customer concerns
Maintain high external and internal customer satisfaction by modeling and living DFS company values through every interaction
Participate in industry trade shows and events as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business or related field (8+ years related work experience may be substituted for degree) is preferred
8+ years related sales experience
Must have 2-5 years of experience with Salesforce
Demonstrated ability to profitably grow and maintain assigned accounts through program development and implementation
Consistently achieve / exceed sales quotas for both revenue and margin growth
Develop and implement client specific value-added programs and action plans that align to the client's business objectives and our company strategy
Facilitate customer engagement via email, phone and face-to-face meetings
Effective time management, prioritizing and multi-tasking to achieve both tactical and strategic goals
Proven ability to design, implement and improve a comprehensive sales strategy for assigned accounts that emphasizes pipeline generation and revenue results
Excels at leveraging tools, data and analytics to educate sales strategy, including refining areas of focus for driving profitable revenue growth as well as identifying areas that should be de-emphasized if they don't align to top level objectives or revenue performance
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain strong business relationships
Proven ability to adapt and manage effectively in faced paced changing environment
Ability to influence teams
Team oriented leadership skills
Ability to travel up to 50%
Ability to work in remote and on-site office environments
Ability to sit at a desk and use computer & telephone equipment for up to 8 hours per day
