Responsibilities
Own end-to-end release management lifecycle, including scheduling, coordination, and execution of releases
Build and maintain release calendars and documentation
Monitor release progress and provide regular status updates
Manage risks and dependencies affecting release scope and quality
Identify opportunities for release process optimization
Document and standardize release procedures
Collaborate with engineering on automation initiatives
Create and maintain release guidelines
Coordinate between product, engineering, and operations teams
Communicate project commitments, plans, and changes to stakeholders
Collect and analyze feedback from teams and customers
Qualification
Required
A strong communicator with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across organizations, bridge gaps between teams, and successfully influence without authority
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with confidence, clarity, and focus
Can convey concepts and considerations to non-experts and experts alike
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical field preferred, however excited to talk to people who have picked up technical know-how through industry experience
Experience working directly with engineering teams and managing software development projects
Project management planning tool experience (i.e. Jira, notion, etc)
Ability to handle competing priorities and to work effectively in a challenging and fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical field preferred, however excited to talk to people who have picked up technical know-how through industry experience
