Responsibilities

Working in a fast-paced environment and handling different tasks and duties

Functioning as a skilled-level technician who is able to perform diagnosis and repairs in all areas, in addition to being specialized in particular areas of repair

Examining the vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is necessary

Road-testing vehicles to check work performed

Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins

Understanding and keeping abreast with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc

Complying with manufacturer and dealer safety and environmental programs and practices

Maintaining tools and equipment in a proper state of repair
