Responsibilities

Craft secure, performant, cross-platform browser-based applications and back-end APIs for both customers and internal Okta teams
Work closely with Product and Design to determine and optimize user experience
Build new and maintain existing features by contributing across the full technical stack
Debug and resolve production issues and implement fixes for them
Develop features, APIs, and fixes to handle our current and future scale
Contribute to our testing suite and infrastructure to enhance the reliability of our services and deployment pipelines
Support the implementation of our main projects to help us get them to the finish line

Required

4+ years of directly relevant experience in REST API design and implementation
Full Stack development of production-ready services and features
Testing and designing testing strategies (Unit, System, UI, E2E)
Standard CI/CD pipelines
3+ years of recent relevant experience in JavaScript / Typescript Node.js frameworks (Express, HapiJS)
Front-end frameworks (React, Mobx)
Relational and No-SQL Databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis)
Unit / Integration testing with Jest E2E testing
Experience in Docker and Kubernetes
