Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, including but not limited to calculating wages, deductions, and overtime accurately and in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws
Review and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters promptly and professionally
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain employee records and ensure seamless integration between payroll and other HR systems
Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed for management and accounting purposes
Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
Proficiency with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday)
Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus
