Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for all remodeling operations, overseeing project planning, execution, production, purchasing, and warranty/service functions
Responsible for project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to meet production targets and profitability goals while monitoring financial performance through cost analysis, variance reporting, and margin improvement initiatives
Manage, develop, and evaluate teams including project managers, superintendents, estimators, and field staff, with responsibility for recruiting and training to support operational excellence
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure reliable partnerships and cost-effective sourcing
Implement and enforce quality control standards, safety protocols, and compliance with building codes and industry regulations
Collaborate closely with sales, design, and finance teams to align operations with company objectives and customer needs, identify opportunities for process improvements, risk mitigation, and scalability, and represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
5+ years of progressive experience in residential construction or remodeling, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Director of Operations or similar)
Proven track record of managing multiple remodeling projects, delivering on-time and on-budget results, and achieving profitability improvements
Strong knowledge of residential remodeling processes, including estimating, scheduling, subcontractor management, and warranty programs
Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills; experience leading cross-functional teams
Proficiency in construction software (e.g., project management tools, estimating programs) and financial reporting
Demonstrated ability to handle complex client relationships and resolve issues effectively
Preferred
Experience in high-volume or custom residential remodeling environments
Familiarity with current industry trends, materials, and sustainable practices
Strong analytical skills for cost control and performance metrics
