Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services to support application development and deployment
Implement and optimize CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines to reduce manual testing, troubleshooting, and deployment effort
Leverage infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation to create repeatable, secure, and scalable environments
Configure, integrate, and secure AWS and Azure services to deliver resilient cloud solutions
Administer and support containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) in development and production environments
Incorporate and support open-source tools to improve efficiency across the development lifecycle
Monitor systems in production and continuously improve performance, reliability, and security
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level Cloud Engineers
Identify opportunities to develop new solutions that address customer and mission-critical challenges
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience supporting Linux-based systems in system design, solution engineering, software development, or system administration roles
3+ years of experience working with complex build systems
3+ years of hands-on experience configuring, integrating, and securing AWS services to deliver production-ready solutions
3+ years of experience administering container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
Strong experience with scripting and automation, including: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), Custom scripting using Python and Bash
Experience developing and deploying cloud-native services, including AWS Lambda
Experience building automated DevSecOps pipelines using cloud service providers such as AWS and Azure
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Ability to obtain a security clearance
