Responsibilities
Assist the project management team from pre-construction through project closeout
Help develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure long-term success
Support the creation and management of project schedules, coordinating with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA standards across all projects
Assist in managing project activities, collaborating with field superintendents and other resources
Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and business partners to keep projects on track
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
At least 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer, ideally with a self-performing heavy civil contractor or similar experience
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
Proficiency in CPM Scheduling, Hard Dollar, and the MS Office Suite (including MS Project)
Experience with construction software such as On-Screen Takeoff or Agtek
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong time management abilities to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities
Preferred
Knowledge of Bluestake and familiarity with the Arizona Heavy Civil market is a plus
