Responsibilities

Management of complex projects or processes with general oversight and providing mentorship and training to team members

Works with team members to identify and mitigate risks to successful product integration

Utilize automation tools for rapid system deployment and patch management

Engineer improvements to current systems and processes; Plan and execute automation of system activities

Maintain security compliance leveraging suite of security tools

Define the system, upgrade plans and make ready for future addition with minimal disturbance

Perform work in accordance with established IT System. Administration/Engineering, user, security, and regulatory requirements (JSIG, NIST 800 series, and DOD Manuals volume 1-4, etc

Assist with engineering improvements to current systems and processes; Provide support in planning and execution of system automation

Track and present technical performance metrics for IT systems

Thorough management of documentation

Interface with development teams to determine future growth needs

Support the maintenance of the IT systems

Present design reviews to relevant stakeholders

Participate in proposal activities (both cost and technical)

Execute the automation strategy; deliver products that represent workflows

Works with team members to identify and mitigate risks to successful product integration

Develop, track and present technical performance metrics for IT systems

Perform root cause analysis of system failures

Execute duties with little oversight; proactively looking to improve areas of deficiency

Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance and any additional clearances as required

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs

Up to 10% travel may be required

Performs other duties as required and assigned by senior leadership

Must obtain 8140 Certification (Security+ etc.) within six (6) months of hire
