Sr. Account Manager-Global Accounts

NNR Global Logistics USA Inc. is seeking a Sr. Account Manager-Global Accounts to maintain and lead their top tier Global Accounts. This role involves overseeing account strategy, facilitating high performance, and increasing revenue for assigned accounts.

Responsibilities

Directly supervises all aspects of the Global Account relationship
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Provide overview as required of existing business and projected forecast information
Coordinate constant data and various reporting criteria as set forth by the individual customer’s requirements on a weekly and monthly basis
Implement and maintain an operational structure to guarantee smooth operations of all Global Account shipments worldwide
Meet/communicate with customer stakeholders weekly to discuss current business and potential future business opportunities
Ensure valid contract and rate sheets for all business are executed and disseminated properly within NNR USA and other NNR Subsidiaries as required
Discover new business opportunities within respective account assignments
Maintain an overview and knowledge of overseas operations staff as well as USA staff and also provide or facilitate customer training as necessary
Identify weaknesses in handling procedures, internally and externally (airlines, trucking companies, etc.)
Incorporate Customers Global Service requests to NNR USA offices, HO and NNR Group Partners/Agents via regular updates and/or SOP’s
Alert and inform customer stakeholders of changes that could have direct impact on their freight movements
Effective in listening, understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and business clients
Perform other duties as requested by management

Qualification

Global Account ManagementDirect Sales ExperienceFreight Forwarding KnowledgeMicrosoft ApplicationsCommunication Skills

Required

Minimum 2 years of college
5 years' experience of direct sales within the industry
Thorough knowledge of the global freight forwarding industry, air, ocean, and surface
Extensive experience in dealing with high profile, global accounts
Excellent communication and organizational skills and be prepared to work as a team player
Solid knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, frequently and/or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
Flexible and long hours sometimes required
Overnight travel may be required, including foreign travel
Valid driver's license
