The role involves leading quality initiatives, collaborating with various teams to resolve customer complaints, and driving continuous improvement efforts in quality standards.

Responsibilities
Support the distribution center as the site quality engineer
Leads containment activities for quality spills from the warehouse processes
Support customer quality team in resolving customer complaints by implementation of corrective actions
Co-ordinate between Customer Quality, operations and 3PL teams for quality improvement
Monitor internal audits and safe launch audit data from the warehouse processes and drive continuous improvement
Collaborate with 3PL team in driving problem solving activities, corrective actions for repeat and high-risk quality spills
Ensures products and process development meet quality standards
Identifies problems, prioritizes actions, leads or participates in Six Sigma projects
Participates in change management activities by verifying products and processes, developing key measures, analyzing data for decision support, and presenting results to site leadership
Leads audits of processes and quality systems
Serves as a quality technical resource to other functional areas
May coach and mentor quality analysts
May occasionally have to lift 32 lb of parts as well as support a lot of projects on the floor that may have extensive walking or standing
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of Quality or Logistics experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment preferred
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or supply chain management
