Responsibilities

Recruit, train, schedule, and manage volunteers for both Festivals

Help with Festival planning, organizing, and execution, to include managing listservs; creating and sharing promotional materials (including a zine of Festival poets); managing social media accounts; and updating the website, as needed

Create legacy materials for the next Nossrat Yassini Poetry Festival intern

Required

Must be available before, during, and after the Festival for set-up, break-down, and to work with the Festival Director in managing events and handling on-site activities

Experience in recruiting, training, scheduling, and managing volunteers

Ability to help with Festival planning, organizing, and execution

Experience in managing listservs

Ability to create and share promotional materials, including a zine of Festival poets

Experience in managing social media accounts

Ability to update the website as needed

Ability to create legacy materials for the next Nossrat Yassini Poetry Festival intern
