Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
Coordinate project activities across multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders
Track task dependencies, resource allocations, and overall project progress
Organize and facilitate project kickoff meetings, sprint planning sessions, and status reviews
Identify, document, and monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies
Maintain and update risk and issue logs, escalating concerns as appropriate
Support the development and execution of mitigation and contingency plans
Track resolution status and ensure timely closure
Serve as a central point of coordination for project communications
Prepare and distribute project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
Facilitate regular status meetings and document action items and decisions
Ensure consistent communication of project progress, risks, and changes
Support scope management to ensure deliverables align with approved requirements
Document and manage change requests, including impact analysis
Maintain change control logs and support governance review processes
Help enforce project standards and prevent scope creep

Required

Strong understanding of project management planning, execution, and control
Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams
Experience with risk and issue management, including escalation and mitigation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar
Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail

Preferred

Experience supporting enterprise or public-sector initiatives
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies
Experience working in regulated or governance-heavy environments
PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification (or in progress)
