Responsibilities
Perform all account transactions including applications, quotations, ID Cards, endorsements, binders, claim servicing, renewals, follow-up, and correspondence
Maintain all client files in our Agency Management System with full policy details and use the system for all transactions, notes, and tasks
Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, company requests, and producer (me) needs on a timely basis
Conduct annual coverage surveys and recommend, sell additional coverage lines, or increase limits with current clientele
Review new business, renewals, endorsements as needed to ensure items are received as ordered
Obtain expiration dates for additional policies and follow through to make sales of companion lines
Keep informed on industry trends, new sales programs, or opportunities to grow the business
Sell new personal lines accounts if you're interested in more of a sales/CSR hybrid role. I'm open to the possibilities of different roles within the organization
Maintain and learn current underwriting requirements and guidelines of contracted insurance carriers
Maintain knowledge of policy provisions and any changes in terms and provisions
Participate in agency planning for overall growth
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years insurance experience
Experience in managing Private Clients and providing tailored insurance solutions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
Relevant certifications or licenses in insurance
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Insurance, or related field
