Responsibilities
Trade Virtuals and UTC products across multiple ISO/RTO markets
Identify, model, and capitalize on short-term market inefficiencies
Develop and implement new trading and risk management strategies
Conduct research on market fundamentals, load, and price drivers
Monitor portfolio performance and exposures in real-time
Collaborate with analysts, developers, and fellow traders on strategy refinement
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience trading Virtuals, UTCs, or closely related products
Strong knowledge of at least one major ISO/RTO market
Experience managing the full lifecycle of a trading strategy, including risk oversight
Proficiency in quantitative modeling, statistical analysis, and programming (Python, R, or similar)
Comfort making decisions in fast-moving, high-pressure environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving background
