Project Architect

They are seeking a Project Architect to design various K-12 Education projects, overseeing the development of construction documents and ensuring effective communication with internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

Architectural design and documentation of projects working with the Project Manager and rest of the design team
Participates in the design and creative development of projects
Meeting and communicating with the internal team and clients as required
Due diligence including planning approvals, permitting research, submittals, and follow-up
Project status reports and conference calls
Construction administration including field visits, weekly status reports, submittals and RFI tracking

Qualification

K-12 Education experienceBachelor’sMaster’s in ArchitectureRevit/BIM experienceConstruction documentationProject managementMicrosoft Office proficiencyCommunication skillsCollaborative approach

Required

Architect with 3+ years of experience in K-12 Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
Experienced in design and development of construction documents and specifications
Revit/BIM experience required
Experience with overseeing projects through construction including field observations, managing submittals and Request for Information from the field
Experience with coordinating with external and internal engineering disciplines
Understanding of construction documentation and administration
Experienced and comfortable working self-sufficiently
Demonstrates a collaborative approach and ability to work within a team environment
Experience in coordinating with internal teams, including project planning, scheduling and tracking
Excellent communication skills, professional writing skills and the ability to multi-task between several projects and priorities simultaneously
Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Valid Driver's License is required
