Responsibilities

Build & develop the team: Lead Purchasing Managers and planners; establish training & cross‑training programs across functions and geographies

Own planning & S&OP: Drive documented, data‑driven forecasts using budgets, historical sales, promotional plans, and project schedules—delivering right item/right place/right time

Simplify service delivery: Partner with Engineering to standardize designs and cut complexity—fewer SKUs, lower inventory valuation, faster delivery, higher service levels

Supplier strategy & negotiations: Lead term sheets/QBRs; improve order‑to‑delivery turnaround, launch notifications, and supplier service levels

Automation & analytics: Champion digital tools and AI‑enabled reporting for forecasting, sourcing, procurement, invoicing, and performance dashboards

Inventory excellence: Set policy/governance to minimize obsolescence through proactive lifecycle planning and collaborative SKU management

Cross‑functional leadership: Align Construction, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, and each Line of Business to shared KPIs, clear decision rights, and transparent reporting
