Responsibilities
SAP data entry
Teslin raw material inventory management and procurement
Packaging supply inventory management and procurement
Teslin packaging supply purchasing
Teslin railcar management and coordination with local railroads
Management and coordination of trucking for raw materials, packaging supplies, and other Department supplies
Weekly daily / weekly production updates
Monthly Raw Material Closing
Coordination of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste shipments for the department
Teslin empty container management
Develop and update SOP’s related to the performance of procurement and management of raw materials and packaging supplies for the department
Support Barberton EHSLT Committee and Subcommittees as requested
Support HOP process through interactions and Pre-Task Briefs
Learn the Teslin Process sufficiently in order to communicate and support achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) related to Safety, Productivity, Quality, and Delivery
Serve on the Teslin On-Call Rotation
Train on basic supervisory duties related to the safe and efficient operation of the department to cover for Supervisor emergency vacations or outage support, on a limited basis
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of experience in materials planning or related field
Ability to work independently and without close supervision
Ability to make decisions
Experience with SAP, which is critical to setting up raw materials and supplies
Strong personal computer skill level with Windows, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Outlook
