Technical Sales Engineer
Catalyst Unity Solutions, Inc. is a manufacturers' representative firm seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join their team in Wisconsin. The role involves developing relationships with engineers in the manufacturing sector, conducting product demonstrations, and preparing proposals to secure new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with engineers at existing and prospective customers within the manufacturing sector
Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and identify suitable product solutions
Conduct product demonstrations and deliver technical presentations to educate customers on the features and benefits of our offerings
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contract negotiations to secure new business opportunities
Work closely with the internal team and manufacturers to ensure smooth sales processes and timely delivery of products
Stay current with industry trends, competitor analysis, and product knowledge to provide accurate and effective solutions to clients
Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand professional networks and generate leads
Qualification
Required
Technical Degree
Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of industrial products, systems, and processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
