Advising on the tax aspects of complex M&A, private equity, fund formations, financings, restructurings, and cross-border transactions
Working closely with corporate, finance, real estate, and litigation colleagues on high-value, market-leading matters
Direct client interaction and hands-on involvement in deal structuring and execution
Qualification
Required
4–5 years' tax experience at a major law firm (will consider those slightly above or below this range)
Strong grounding in U.S. federal income tax (corporate and/or partnership)
Experience supporting M&A, private equity, funds, or finance transactions
Excellent drafting skills and comfort advising internal deal teams
Preferred
New York Bar admission preferred
