Responsibilities
Serve as an Event Project Manager responsible for planning and execution of the event, from initial concept through post-event wrap-up
Own the project plan and operational timeline, ensuring all milestones, dependencies, and deliverables are met
Oversee event procurement and logistics, including venue coordination, hotel management, on-site logistics, and vendor execution
Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, delegates, and cross-functional teams
Manage the event budget, including forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation
Partner with Legal and internal business stakeholders to coordinate NDAs, competition law requirements, and privacy considerations
Maintain NDA documentation and compliance records
Support procurement and supply chain stakeholders as needed to ensure supplier engagement aligns with event objectives
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an Event Project Manager or in a similar event-focused project management role
Strong project and event management skills with the ability to manage complex timelines and multiple workstreams
Exceptional organizational and documentation skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong problem-solving skills with adaptability and sound decision-making
Proficiency in Microsoft 365
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is required
Associate's or High school diploma is also accepted with significant experience
Preferred
Corporate experience is preferred
Experience in a procurement-heavy role is highly preferred
Experience in event planning, conference management, or large-scale project execution is strongly preferred
