Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules to ensure timely and accurate close processes
Maintain detailed reconciliations for key balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring complete and accurate supporting documentation
Assist with monthly internal reporting packages and perform variance analysis to support management decision-making
Support internal controls and SOX compliance while partnering with external auditors on audits of corporate entities and partnerships
Research accounting issues, analyze financial data, and support regulatory requirements, filings, and contractual fee calculations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
4-6 years of corporate accounting experience
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
General ledger accounting experience
Financial reporting experience
Demonstrated experience supporting SOX 404 compliance
Advanced Excel proficiency required
Detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong communication skills
Sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred
CPA preferred
Preferred exposure to SEC reporting or public company environments
Experience using ERP systems such as Workday Financials preferred
