Responsibilities
Compiling data and conducting research in support of project delivery
Creating graphics to support planning documents
Playing a key role in the preparation of plans
Writing sections of planning reports and documents
Producing material for project meetings and workshops
Participating in on-site workshops in a support role
Communicating effectively with the project team and manager
Qualification
Required
BA/ BS Degree in Urban or Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Preferred
Master's Degree in Urban, Regional, or other related planning field
Related professional or internship experience
Positive outlook and can-do attitude approach to tasks and teamwork
Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to balance priorities
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
Efficient and organized worker with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary teams
Apt at developing creative and innovative graphics and project layouts
Follows guidance well with little oversight
Proficient with ArcGIS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, AutoCAD, Sketchup Pro, and Photoshop
