Part Time Gift Room Specialist / Packer

Responsibilities

Pack chocolate and non-chocolate confectionery products with a focus on finishing these product packages (Bowing) to be sold as specialty gift items
Finish packaged gift items
Make decorative bows and tie gift ribbon on packages
Coordinating and preparing work aligned with the supply and demand plan and production schedule
Inspect raw materials and verify product labeling to ensure accuracy and quality
Weighing, packing and labeling candy products as determined by printed work orders and/or component statements
Documenting completed work orders and recording finished goods build data
Routine inventory audits
Use of scanners and computer as necessary
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned

Required

Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production warehouse facility
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in varied indoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to operate machinery with or without reasonable accommodation
Experience in a production environment
Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

Basic math skills

High School diploma or GED equivalent
