Forsyth Barnes is a leading managed IT and cyber security services provider supporting alternative investment firms. They are seeking an Account Executive to drive new business by selling managed IT and cyber security services into Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Debt, and Family Office firms.
Responsibilities
Sell managed IT and cyber security services into alternative investment firms
Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and close
Develop and execute territory and go-to-market plans to grow revenue
Build strong relationships across the alternative investment ecosystem through events, vendors and partners
Balance inbound leads with outbound activity to create consistent pipeline
Run consultative sales conversations focused on client challenges and outcomes
Collaborate with technical, engineering, pre-sales, marketing and support teams
Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting
Provide market feedback on trends, competition and customer needs
Represent the business with professionalism and integrity
Qualification
Required
3+ years of sales experience, ideally selling into alternative investment firms
Experience selling IT services, MSP solutions or cyber security strongly preferred
Comfortable with both inbound and outbound sales activity
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
Commercially driven with high energy and resilience
Ability to speak confidently with both business buyers and technical teams
Preferred
Existing network within Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Debt or Family Offices is a plus
