New Grad, Entry LevelApartment Management Professionals (AMP) is seeking a Make-Ready Technician to prepare apartment units for new residents. The role involves performing general maintenance and repairs, ensuring units are in optimal condition and turned over in a timely manner while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Complete all maintenance service requests as assigned in a timely manner
Ensure apartment units are turned over efficiently and within established timelines
Follow and complete the make-ready and punch checklist to ensure all tasks are completed
Identify and address issues requiring repairs, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repairs (e.g., toilets, light switches, garbage disposals, ceiling fans, etc.)
Install and remove appliances, ceiling fans, light fixtures, and blinds
Perform touch-up painting duties for both exterior and interior surfaces as required
Respond promptly to tenant requests, delivering excellent customer service
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws, including Fair Housing regulations
Perform any other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations
Qualification
Required
Proficient in basic electrical, plumbing, drywall/paint, carpentry, ceramic/tile, and appliance installation, removal, and repairs
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong multitasking abilities, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Availability to work on-call, including after-hours and weekends, as needed
Must be capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
Requires the ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, and kneel for extended periods
Must be able to safely climb ladders and stairs as part of daily tasks
Preferred
Experience with turnovers and make-readies of vacant units in the multifamily industry is preferred
