Outside Sales Representative, Low Voltage Systems

FieldLink is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to generate new revenue by identifying, engaging, and securing new clients while expanding opportunities within existing accounts. This role focuses on selling comprehensive low-voltage systems and services, requiring strong technical aptitude and the ability to build long-term customer relationships across various sectors.

Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship building
Conduct virtual presentations, demonstrations, and consultations to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate low-voltage solutions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within assigned markets
Prepare, present, and negotiate accurate proposals, estimates, and project scopes
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution
Collaborate with internal teams to support solution design, pricing, and project planning
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions using CRM tools
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets and activity goals
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings

Required

Minimum of five years of experience in outside sales, business development, or technical solutions selling
Working knowledge of low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, security and camera systems, access control, fire alarm, audio/video, and intercom solutions
Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
Ability to manage a high-volume prospecting workload and maintain a structured sales pipeline
Proficiency with CRM systems and virtual meeting platforms
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Valid drivers license for occasional customer visits, if required
High school diploma required

Preferred

Associate or bachelors degree in a related field
At least five years of sales experience involving technical, electrical, security, or low-voltage solutions
