Senior Business Analyst
Operation PAR, Inc. is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst to support their administrative team. The successful candidate will turn data into actionable insights and will be responsible for conducting full lifecycle analysis, developing reporting capabilities, and monitoring performance for improvement.

Responsibilities
Work with executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement
The ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements
Create reports for internal teams and/or external partners
Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
Structure large data sets to find usable information
Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information
Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
The ability to analyze data models to deliver logical conclusions
Developing innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes
Being proficient in inventing processes or systems needed to implement changes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with senior-level management regarding the implementation of changes
Sound knowledge and expertise in evaluating the implications of changes
Competence in writing reports and making presentations to highlight the effect of changes made
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and 'clean' data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Responsible for report creation using Crystal reports or similar report software, SSRS is a must
Knowledge of and experience with SQL or SQL-like programs
Knowledge of database tables
Data reporting / report writing
Must be customer service oriented
All other related job duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Five years' experience in business environments and a thorough knowledge of computer architecture and interconnectivity
Knowledge of computer hardware and software utilized by the agency. This knowledge must include some familiarity with current programming languages such as SQL, as well as current OS' and a workable knowledge of MS Office applications and database software
Ability to create, modify and troubleshoot Crystal Reports
Ability to solve complex data problems with available tools and skills
Ability to operate a keyboard, and mouse or other data entry device
Ability to communicate with technical support engineers
Ability to communicate with end-users in a way that is meaningful and understandable to the user
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and make the best possible solution
Ability to effectively communicate in English with speaking, hearing and writing skills
Must have excellent communication and people skills
Preferred
MS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics preferred
