Responsibilities

Contacts clients using a variety of effective methods and provides invoice copies, statements, and other information necessary to facilitate payment

Maintains thorough notes regarding collection efforts and updates contact information on an ongoing basis

Researches payment history to resolve discrepancies and address client concerns

Works with clients on account holds in a way that preserves the business relationship while restoring open account privileges

Makes recommendations to their manager when payment performance warrants changes to the terms of the account

Researches questionable receipts and discrepancies to ensure accurate postings

Processes credit card payments timely and accurately

Will reach out to clients to obtain this information for back-up of questionable clients

Reports on progress or difficulties in the department to their manager on established cadence and highlights any collection efforts which have come to a standstill
