In this role, you will oversee general accounting operations, ensure compliance, and provide valuable support to the financial planning and analysis efforts.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analyses

Manage corporate general accounting activities, including financial reporting and compliance

Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and internal audit teams

Evaluate and enhance accounting procedures to meet GAAP, SEC reporting, and internal policy standards

Support acquisition integration by harmonizing accounting practices and controls

Develop and implement efficient accounting policies and process improvements

Supervise and mentor staff accountants, providing guidance and feedback

Partner with Finance, Tax, and Legal teams on special projects and ad hoc analyses

Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required

5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or a publicly traded company

Strong knowledge of corporate accounting, financial reporting, SEC compliance, and internal controls

Experience with acquisition integration and system alignment is essential

Proficiency with Oracle ERP systems, EssBase experience is an asset

Advanced Excel skills and exceptional analytical capabilities

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

A commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Preferred

CPA certification is strongly preferred

Big 4 preferred
