Responsibilities
Preparing and reviewing sensitive and confidential legal documents concerning the admission and/or civil commitment of individuals to private, county and state psychiatric hospitals
Scheduling court hearings
Assisting with other duties of the County Adjuster's Office including the investigation of residency status and ability to pay for hospitalization, organization and daily filing of confidential healthcare records and other administrative tasks
The ability to accurately input data into the various database systems is also an extremely important aspect of this position
