2nd Shift Press Brake Operator

Responsibilities

Following the Safety policy, including PPE
Setting up and operating press brakes and other equipment on a variety of parts of all shapes and sizes
Checking products against standards for conformance to specifications
Following specifications in job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints
Observing machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction
Performing minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces
Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures
Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction

Required

Minimum of 2 years of related experience
Must be able to read exact measurements on a tape measure without assistance!
Must be able to read blueprints!
Math skills
Ability to read blueprints
Knowledge of standard and metric measurements
Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Team orientation
Crane operation certification required
Forklift operation certification required
Availability to work on Saturdays as needed
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
LOTO certification preferred, but not required
