This role is crucial for expanding their client portfolio while delivering compliance, risk management, and consultancy services.

Responsibilities
Identify and engage prospective clients through inbound and outbound sales, converting leads into long-term relationships
Collaborate with our marketing team on targeted lead-generation campaigns
Follow up on inbound leads from PPC and online marketing activity
Maintain accurate sales records within Salesforce to support forecasting and strategic planning
Work with internal teams to prepare accurate pricing, proposals, and service information
Negotiate contracts and successfully close deals that deliver value for both clients and the business
Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets, with excellent opportunities for career progression
Qualification
Required
Exceptional communication skills
Strong commercial mindset
Solid knowledge of the water sector
Ideally a member of WMSOC
Proactive, resilient, and driven, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced sales environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident engaging customers via phone, email, and face-to-face
Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to nurture long-term partnerships
Experience in transactional sales, including cold calling and generating leads through market tools
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, capable of identifying opportunities and closing deals
Highly self-motivated, able to work independently and within a collaborative team
Confident IT user, including Microsoft Office
Passionate about business development, sales, and the environmental/water sector, with a desire for continuous learning
