Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with their client in the financial industry located in Addison, TX and Charlotte, NC. The role involves assisting with a 2026 initiative project, improving the resiliency and maintenance of the document capture platform, and monitoring database application performance.

Responsibilities

Assist with 2026 initiative project work
Improve resiliency and maintenance of the document capture platform
Follow high quality database development standards
Lead/participate in design discussions, prototype development
Provide direct support to Application teams
Monitor database application performance and identify current and future potential bottle-necks

Qualification

PL/SQLSQL performance tuningOracle 19cAgile methodologyDatabase structuresCommunication skillsTeam collaborationProblem-solvingAttention to detail

Required

7+ years' working with PL/SQL
7+ years' of SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning experience
Working knowledge of Oracle 19c added capabilities and functionality, basic knowledge of Golden gate replication
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and communicate proposed solutions
Ability to build and maintain supportive relationships within a team environment
Strong work ethic and drive for results
Refactor code for latest database and hardware technologies
Ability to function in agile team environment using Scrum framework
Understand and apply database structures, theories, principles and practices

Preferred

3+ years' experience working in the Agile Team (preferably Scaled Agile) Agile Project Process Knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop, review and comment on written technical documentation
Process oriented and detailed oriented
Positive attitude
Ability to work in a team in a fast paced project environment
Willingness to be accountable for meeting all deliverable dates for task assignments
