Responsibilities

Develop a long-term strategy and translate it into projects and deliverables for the team. Mentor and support the team to achieve its goals to prevent abuse issues. Lead projects and cross-functional initiatives within Google, interacting with executive stakeholders from Engineering, Legal, Product teams and more
Work across several Search features related to Multimodal input and output in GenAI space and find commonalities and abuse patterns. Lead projects to protect Google Search users from abuse, inappropriate content and fraud through investigation, prevention and removal of quality issues
Develop insights and recommendations to enable systematic solutions. Conduct actionable data analyses to identify new signals to improve search quality
Perform on-call responsibilities on a rotating schedule, including weekends as needed. Work with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial, upsetting topics or content

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, business strategy, or related fields

Preferred

Master's or PhD in relevant field
Experience working with engineering and product teams to create tools, solutions, or automation to improve user safety
Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or experience in a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python)
Experience with machine learning
Experience working closely with policy teams
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in a fluid environment
