SPX Technologies is a global leader in HVAC and Detection and Measurement solutions. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to assist the Continuous Improvement Engineering team in various engineering tasks related to design, analysis, testing, and product development.

Responsibilities

Provide support to CI team in the execution of the technical activities required on assigned projects such as:

Create Standard Work Instruction

Create Total Productive Maintenance Plans

Provide support to CI team by performing activities such as Layout, Production Process Flow, and Material presentation

Support 5S program

Improve Production area workspace for efficiency

Identify and execute small scale projects

Participate in Value Stream Mapping

Lead other projects as assigned or proposed by you

Qualification

Required

Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related Engineering field

Candidates must have completed their second year of engineering studies

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

High problem-solving skills and self-direction

Preferred

Familiarity with technical drawings

Mechanical aptitude for machines and tools

Technical hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products
