Responsibilities

Establish Ground Truth: Define definitive aesthetic targets and source assets for the project

Direct Hero/NPC Visuals: Lead the design of high-fidelity characters for both combat and cinema

Close the Film Gap: Drive real-time visuals toward pre-rendered standards in lighting and performance

Lead R&D Art Pipelines: Collaborate with Engineers to prototype tools that accelerate asset creation

Validate Quality: Act as the final authority on the aesthetic integrity of R&D-generated assets

Mentor Culture: Transition the team from manual execution to high-level creative direction

Qualification

Required

Proven track record as a Lead/Director on AAA titles

Sophisticated understanding of anatomy, materials, and lighting

Strong background in filmic composition and performance

Comfortable discussing procedural systems and new tech with engineers

A deep desire to disrupt traditional pipelines to achieve higher efficiency

Preferred

Experience with Unreal Engine 5 (UE5)
