Maverick Power is a rapidly growing company specializing in power distribution solutions. They are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams in designing and producing power distribution and control systems for various customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

Mechanical design for low and medium voltage switchgear, switchboards, panel boards, and control panels

Evaluate drawings and specifications to develop designs that meet customer requirements

Design electrical enclosures meeting applicable UL, ANSI, IEEE, etc. safety standards

Create bills of materials, specify parts, work with internal and external manufacturing

Develop test plans for product validation and certification

Work with 3rd party labs to test and analyze data

Act as point of contact with other Mavericks and outside engineering firms

Determine deliverable due dates and hold to the schedule

Lead interaction with other functions and locations to determine optimum product/process solutions

Additional responsibilities include but not limited to developing engineering solutions for the custom low-voltage switchboards, switchgear, panelboards, and medium-voltage switchgear

Other duties as assigned by supervisor
